Café Mam (say ‘mom’) is a family-owned and operated coffee company based in Eugene, Oregon. Our roots grow deep in organic agriculture, and our foundation is built on principles of ethical sourcing, sustainability, environmentalism, cultural identity, human dignity, and, of course, high-quality, freshly roasted coffee.

Order Fulfillment

We have an immediate full-time, entry-level opening in our order fulfillment (packing/shipping) department. We are looking for someone who is interested in long-term employment, with a desire to work for a mission-driven company.

Responsibilities Include: 

  • Packaging products to be shipped nationally and internationally, which involves meticulous attention to detail and the ability to stand for long hours
  • Inventorying and ordering products stocked in our warehouse
  • Weekly (sometimes daily) cleaning and organization tasks
  • Occasionally moving/lifting heavy objects
  • Communicating and coordinating with colleagues respectfully
  • Building sustainable relationships of trust through open and interactive communication with your coworkers, and our customers

Requirements:

  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
  • Customer service-oriented
  • Ability to lift 60lbs
  • Flexibility
  • Clean driving record
  • A good attitude!

Prior coffee experience a plus; prior packing/shipping experience a plus; experience with QuickBooks and Microsoft Office, also a plus.

Starting pay is $16.00 per hour, with a $0.50 raise after a 2-month review. Non-exempt, full-time, 40 hours per week. Our comprehensive benefits package includes eligibility for employer-paid medical and vision insurance; 401(k); 401(k) match; paid vacation that increases over time; paid sick and holiday time; monthly credit towards coffee; and paid community service time.
